All infos about the 2023 French Poker Championship

Keen to create and innovate, Apo Chantzis and its Texapoker teams are launching a new festival event for September 2023.

A future must-attend event on the French poker scene, the first edition of the French Poker Championship will be held from 7 to 17 September 2023 at the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence.

The competition will consist of 4 main events: a €1,000 8-max NLHE, a €1,000 6-max NLHE, a €1,000 8-max PLO and a €1,000 Heads-Up NLHE. The overall winners of each event will be crowned French champions in their discipline. They will also win a WPT World Championship package worth $12,000 to go and play at the Wynn in Las Vegas in December 2023.

While further details of the event will be announced as they become available, €150 satellite tickets will be distributed from 1 November on various TPSs throughout France. Online satellites will also take place on PMU.fr.

These €150 tickets will enable players to take part in the CDF satellites contested during the "Objectif Championnat de France de Poker 2023" festivals. A €250 Main Event will offer 80% of the prizepool in cash and 20% in €1,000 CDF tickets.

Online registration will open on partouchepokerscope.com from 25 July (for all multi-day tournaments) and live in all Partouche casinos. Bookings will open on Texapoker.net on 28 July. Online satellites will take place on PMU.fr from 10 July.

Finally, to promote the event throughout the year, 8 ambassadors have been appointed to publicise the competition: Erwann Pecheux, Philippe Ktorza, Pierre Merlin, Aurélie Reard, Giuseppe Zarbo, Tahar Said, Johann Zeitoun and Bruno Fitoussi.
