It is this past weekend that Texapoker and the Casino of Sanremo inaugurated their new festival, the Sanremo Poker Open with its Main Event at 500 euros disputed in 6-max. The event attracted Italian players and French neighbors, bringing the number of entrants to the main tournament to 146. A very nice attendance figure for one of the first major events in Italy post COVID-19.

In the final table, we found the Southerner Kevin Danneville and the serial perfeur Sonny Franco but also the Franco-Italian Giuseppe Zarbo and the Marseillais Tahar Said , finally runner-up behind Antony Darmani . The young man pockets nearly 15,000 euros, enough to spend a great summer!
