The first edition of the French Poker Championship will take place from 7 to 17 September 2023: the Pasino Grand d'Aix-en-Provence, Europe's most interactive casino, will host 4 main €1,000 events (8-max, 6-max, HU and PLO) withschedules and structures devised by Texapoker.

For several weeks now, the Pasino Grand d'Aix-en-Provence teams have been working closely with Texapoker to put together a festival never before seen in France. This 11-day competition will crown the French Champions and will also offer the 4 winners an exceptional WPT World Championship package worth $12,000 to play in the Wynn in Las Vegas from 12 to 18 December.

In partnership with PMU.fr, the festival schedule is now known, opening with the 6-max NLHE event and its three starting days from 12 noon on 7 September with 50,000 starting chips over 40/50 minute levels (Days 1 except 1C Turbo 20/25min), 60 minutes on Day 2 and 70 minutes on the final day.

This will be followed by Heads Up with a maximum of 128 players over two days (11 and 12 September) before an 8-max PLO, also over two days, on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 September. This Pot Limit Omaha tournament will feature a brand new structure with 50,000 starting chips to build on over levels of 40/50 and 60 minutes, something never seen before in France.

Finally, the 8-max NLHE will be contested from Wednesday 13 September at 1pm, with three starting days, 50,000 chips to build on over 60-minute levels (30min 1C Turbo) then 75 minutes on Days 3 and final. The structure is inspired by that of the APO 2500, Texapoker's most successful ever, which won over regular French and foreign players alike.

Late registrations and re-entries will be possible on Day 2, until the end of the 11th level. All the finals of the 4 main events will be available to watch via live streaming.

A number of side events will also be taking place, including the Classic 500, Superstack 300 Progressive KOs, Regular 300s, a Mystery 500 Progressive KO, a Deepstacks 1000 and a three-day €2,000 High Roller. Some Superstacks and Regulars will be played in the Freezeout format, while an area will be dedicated to €150 to €1,000 buy-in Sit&Gos in 6 to 9-max format from 2pm to 10pm each day.

In addition to the upcoming qualifiers on PMU.fr, the new "Objectif Championnat de France de Poker 2023" festivals will feature a €250 Main Event offering 80% of the prizepool in cash and 20% in €1,000 CdF tickets.
