Well-known among regular players at the Rozvadov and Liechtenstein tables, the SharkBay festival is coming to France thanks to a partnership between Texapoker and EuroRounders. Following its first edition at the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence last August, the second stop will take place from November 19 to 24, 2024, at the Partouche Casino in Divonne-les-Bains. After months of renovations, one of the jewels of the Partouche Group is reopening its doors with a brand-new poker room.

Other dates are already on players' calendars:

  • January 14-19, 2025, at the Pasino in La Grande-Motte
  • February 11-16, 2025, at the Pasino Grand La Tour-de-Salvagny (Lyon)
  • June 10-15, 2025, at the Club Circus Paris
  • September 16-21, 2025, at the Pasino in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux

For six days, players will be able to compete in about ten tournaments named after some of the world’s biggest sharks, such as the Bull Shark and Tiger Shark, with a €250 buy-in. The SharkBay Main Event entry fee will be €400, with a structure familiar to Texapoker tournament regulars: three starting days on Thursday and Friday, with a guaranteed cash prize for those reaching Day 2.

Online Qualifiers for SharkBay Festivals on Winamax

As with many festivals organized by Texapoker, players can qualify online at a reduced cost via Winamax. Starting in early July, a €10 rebuy satellite each Tuesday at 9:15 PM will allow players to win a €400 ticket to feed into their SharkBay bankroll. Players can then use this balance for smaller side events at the festival or for the €800 High Roller event.
