This is a major first for the Pasino Grand d'Aix-en-Provence! On the strength of its accumulated experience and the growth of its business in recent years, the flagship of Groupe Partouche has won the confidence of the World Series of Poker franchise to organise the WSOP Circuit festival on its premises for the first time from 10 to 22 April 2025, in partnership with Texapoker. Laurent Mizoule, General Manager of the Pasino Grand, made no secret of his enthusiasm: "French poker is celebrating! Pasino GRAND has the honour of hosting the prestigious World Series of Poker Circuit for the first time. From 10 to 22 April 2025, the best European and international players will meet at the Pasino GRAND to try and win one of the 12 coveted rings. This partnership with Texapoker and the World Series of Poker marks a new stage in the history of French poker and positions Pasino GRAND as the benchmark for European casinos."
Following the great success of the 2024 editions in Paris and Sanremo, Texapoker is once again the preferred partner of the World Series of Poker in Europe. The WSOP Circuit Paris 2024 €1,200 Main Event attracted 1,056 entrants for a prize pool of over €1 million, while the WSOP Circuit Sanremo €1,000 Main Event attracted 1,050 entrants just a few weeks ago.
From 10 to 22 April 2025, 12 WSOP Circuit rings will be handed out, including a €250 Online ring (€1 million guaranteed) on Winamax during a festival with a €1,000 Main Event, also with a €1 million guarantee. Details of the online qualifiers for the festival, on Winamax, will be given at a later date.
The full schedule, meanwhile, has just been unveiled, opening with the €250 Texapoker Podium No.1 Ring Event (April 10), a first-of-its-kind tournament accessible by qualification only, by achieving a podium finish in Texapoker multiday tournaments from January 1 to April 6, 2025 (rules to follow). The overall winner will receive a $10,000 ticket to the WSOP 2025 Main Event in Las Vegas from Texapoker.
The €1,000 Main Event kicks off on Thursday 17 April and runs until Monday 21 April with four starting days and a guaranteed prizepool of €1 million. The festival will also feature the €250 Ring Event N°2 Cup from 11 to 13 April with 4 starting days, the €550 Ring Event N°3 Mystery Bounty (13 to 15 April), the €750 Ring Event N°6 Superstack (15 and 16 April), Ring Event N°7 High Roller €2,000 (16 to 18 April), Ring Event N°9 Deepstack €750 (20 and 21 April), Ring Event N°10 Omaha €550 (20 and 21 April), Ring Event N°11 Super High Roller €3,000 (21 and 22 April) and Ring Event N°12 Bigstack €350 (22 April).
In addition, Ring Event No. 4 Colossus €200 will run from 14 to 22 April with nine starting days, while Ring Event No. 5 will be played online on Winamax (€250 buy-in, €1 million guaranteed). A major Freeroll for Texapoker's partner clubs will also be held on Sunday 13 April.
"Texapoker's loyal partner, the Pasino GRAND in Aix-en-Provence, is the ideal venue for this international festival and it is only logical that the WSOP franchise should be associated with this flagship of Groupe Partouche, said Texapoker CEO Apo Chantzis. Texapoker is honoured by the renewed confidence of the WSOP to develop the WSOP Circuit brand in France and Europe. It rewards our commitment to organising events that offer the best facilities and conditions for players."
